Before and After Bathroom

When Micah and I moved in to our current home, the hall bath had not been updated since probably the early 80's. We had to do a seriously low cost renovation. So, my grandpa created some drawers for what was a vanity chair space (the door would hit you if you were sitting there though so it wasn't usable), and re-faced the rest of the cabinets. We also tore down the awkward corner cabinet that was almost on top of the sink (made it really difficult to wash your face). We ordered a white marble slab, new light fixture, and then I textured over the really horrible paint job to give us a new surface to start over with on paint! We still have some work to do in the bathroom; I plan to replace the mirror soon too and as of yet we haven't touched the tile. But my favorite part to the start of the updates in the bathroom- 1. I textured the walls myself and 2. my new fancy soap dish.
