Recipe for Cake Balls

So a few days ago, or maybe longer, I posted about Mallorie's Mud Pies Cake Balls. Well, a lovely friend and reader has a recipe for these little treats that she shared with me and I thought I would share it with you too. So, if you want to make these delicious treats, here you go:
Cake Balls
1 chocolate cake mix
1 container of pre-made chocolate icing
1 package (16 oz) chocolate bark, melted )or 16 oz choc chips, thinned with paraffin)

Bake cake in 9x13 pan according to package directions. Cool completely, then crumble into small pieces. Add container of icing to crumbled cake and mix well. Place bowl in freezer for approx. 30-45 minutes or until the cake mixture holds its shape. While freezing, melt almond bark in double boiler. Remove cake from freezer and roll into balls. Using a toothpick or dipping fork, dip balls into melted bark. Set on wax paper to dry.

*Any flavor of cake and icing can be used. Other examples:lemon cake and icing dipped in white chocolate. Red velvet cake and vanilla icing, dipped in green tinted white chocolate for Christmas.
